IHA Strategic Action Advisors
The IHA Strategic Action Advisors are appointed to provide timely advice on critical strategic and operational issues within the Institute. Serving a 12-month term, they support the implementation of IHA’s Strategic Plan and foster collaboration across the institute to ensure progress on key initiatives.
Application Cycle: Self-nomination for the 2025 term closed on December 13, 2024. The cycle for 2026 will open in January of 2025.
Faculty Grant Submission Approval Request Form
Please complete the survey to request approval from IHA Director, Jenny Liu, for your intramural and extramural grant submissions.
Timeline Requirements: To ensure timely internal review and routing, please submit this survey according to the following lead times before your sponsor’s submission deadline:
- Intramural Applications — 35 calendar days in advance
- Standard Applications (e.g., R03, R21, R01 without subawards) — 35 calendar days in advance
- Large Proposals (e.g., proposals with subawards, internal components, or subs to SBIRs/STTRs) — 65 calendar days in advance
- Complex Proposals (e.g., program projects or center grants, institutional training grants, cooperative agreements — P, T, U mechanisms) — 4–6 months in advance
